Joe Cruz & The Cruzettes were the house band at the Manila Hyatt-Regency Hotel in the Philippines during the 1970′s.  They blend a mix of Latin, Bossa Nova, Rock and Pop together to form their sound.

Interestingly enough, Joe Cruz and the members of his group come from heralded lineage of Filipino musicians past and present: The Tirso Cruz  Orchestra (popular during the pre and postwar years) to the aforementioned band and all the way to, you guessed it, Geneva Cruz herself.
